Cash assistance project for affected families
Given the catastrophic conditions in the Gaza Strip, many families have lost their source of income and are deprived of the most basic necessities. Therefore, the Child Welfare Association launched the “Cash Assistance” project to provide direct and flexible support to these affected families.
Project idea: To provide cash payments to families whose homes have been damaged or who have lost their source of income, with the aim of enabling them to meet their basic needs according to their priorities, such as buying food, medicine, or children’s supplies.
Project Objectives: – To alleviate the suffering of affected families, both materially and psychologically.
– To empower families to manage their finances according to their individual needs.
– To contribute to the partial restoration of stability to the lives of affected families.
– To support the resilience of the population in the face of the effects of aggression and the blockade.
Implementation Mechanism:
– Identifying affected families through field teams.
– Monitoring the actual impact of the support to ensure its humanitarian objective is achieved.
Beneficiary category:
Families who have lost their homes, sources of income, or are suffering from severe poverty as a result of emergency circumstances.
Project message:
“A small donation… but it’s a lifeline for a family who lost everything.”
Through this project, the association aims to provide a flexible and humane response that preserves the family’s dignity and gives them a chance to start anew.
