Warm Winter Project – Childhood Happiness Charitable Society

With the arrival of winter, amid the tragic humanitarian conditions experienced by the residents of the Gaza Strip, especially the displaced people in tents and destroyed homes, the suffering of poor families, children, and the sick increases due to the bitter cold, as a result of the lack of heating and the absence of infrastructure.

Based on this reality, the Childhood Happiness Charity Association launched the “Warm Winter” project, as a humanitarian response to provide means of protection and heating, and to reduce the health risks resulting from the extreme cold.

Project idea: To provide basic winter necessities for needy and displaced families, such as:
– Heavy blankets
– Mattresses
– Winter clothing for children

Project objectives: – To protect vulnerable groups (children, the elderly, the sick) from winter illnesses.
– To alleviate the psychological and physical suffering of displaced persons.
– Meeting the basic needs of families who lack the most basic necessities of life.
– Strengthening human solidarity in the face of cold and poverty.

Beneficiary group:
Displaced people in tents, poor families, and families whose homes were damaged as a result of the aggression, especially in the border and northern regions.

Project message:
“Winter warmth… a right for every human being living under the sky.”
The association continues its relief projects to alleviate people’s suffering and provide a safer and more compassionate winter.
